Wise Words CPD

Wise Words delivers evidence-based training, events and conferences to ensure best practice in the teaching of reading. Our tried and tested Wise Words training courses are already making waves across the UK as we work with senior leaders and teaching staff at all levels to raise literacy standards and reading engagement in schools.

To facilitate a smooth transition in embedding impactful outcomes from any Wise Words training in your school we ensure all our courses complement and expand on the National Curriculum for English (DfE 2014) and Letters and Sounds progression(DfE 2007). 

With a couple of exceptions, most of our training currently focuses on reading, spelling and language enrichment in the Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2, with plans to research and develop into other areas over the coming months.
